Would definitely recommend to friends and other family members.

Cabin was very comfy. Great food and drinks. Excellent service. Staff are super friendly. We had a great stay.

The speech about the sleeping bag before dinner feels a bit long and not relevant for people not staying overnight at the snowhotel. Otherwise, everything was great!

Wonderful property at an expensive price, but still a great experience

What an outstanding property, which does unfortunately come at a very high price. The cabins are excellent - plenty of room and the large window looking out over the area was great for relaxing and at night, keeping an eye out for the auroras. Breakfast and dinner (included in the nightly rate) were simple but good. Staff all excellent. If you are happy to part with the money they charge, the experience is very good.

We did not do the ice hotel rooms for our stay, but others around us did with mixed reviews. CARE - if you pick these rooms for sleeping you are only in it for that - showers and toilets are separate (but dedicated for ice hotel guests), and whilst there is one lounge area also dedicated for these guests, all of this may not be to everyone's liking. Also, the ice bar (accessible to all hotel guests) only open after dinner and does not serve alcohol.

Unique experience at SnowHotel

The cottage cabin was really nice. Spacious and privacy. The young man at reception was very friendly . It was nice to see someone smiling when most of the time people in Norway seem very serious. We were Lucky to see Northern Lights on our last day.

The restaurant should cook different food for guests stay more than one night . We were offered to have reindeer meat for both nights. No options if you don’t want to eat reindeer meat. But on the second night they managed to change our meal to fish after we said we did not want to have the reindeer meat again. Quality food which was cooked nicely and well presented .

Perfect way to experience bucket list snow activities.

Included breakfast and dinner were excellent and served in beautiful areas. Staying in the Snowhotel was fun and with the sleeping bag I was not cold. We stayed one night in the snowhotel and one in the cabin. Both were well designed. Staff is outstanding and friendly. Offered activities were fun and explanation of how to sleep in snow room helpful. I felt like I was in a 5 star resort with the friendly staff and service. My high expectations were exceeded.

Absolutely over my expectations

The snow hotel is absolutely worth a visit. I had expected more like a very touristic and overrated place, but the room and the ice sculptures and the whole ice hotel was very-very impressive and almost magical! The stuff was very helpful during my whole stay, and the equipment (sleeping bag, balaclava, wollen socks) worked very well. The sauna is a highlight after a night in the cold, and the shower and bath room are very clean and nice. The breakfast was way better than at any other places in Norway with a large selection of delicious food and drink. I totally recommend to visit the hotel during the summer time, then you probably can have the whole place just for you or maybe with a couple of other guests.

Wonderful; beautiful cabin, awesome walk through the snow hotel, lovely dining hall experience

Loved the cabin; breakfast was great; dinner was very good; loved touring the Snow or Ice Hotel; enjoyed seeing the huskies; appreciated the support for getting luggage to and from our car to our cabin.

Many of the cabins large picture windows faced the white plastic wall of the Snow Hotel; staff changed our cabin so we had more of a nature view. The grounds seemed pretty torn up with a lot of construction going on. It looks like there will be a beautiful new reception office to greet and support guests which is needed. I had the expectation that reindeers would be a bigger part of the stay; I think there were 4 raindeer.

Just wow! Everything I hoped it would be and more. Slept like a baby in the snow room! Love love love the huskies ️. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. And the Sami Experience is a must. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic facilities and staff

Loved the cabins so warm! View was great! Enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere. Lots of activities to do onsite. Staff efficient. Ice hotel freezing of course.

We got very cold at night in the ice hotel. I think there should have been somewhere to go and sleep even a bunk bed, as an alternative during the night.

Unique hotel in an amazing location, brilliant food and fantastic staff!

The location is amazing; surrounded by stunning scenery, wildlife, peace and quiet. Plenty of activities to do summer and winter. It is not far from the town of Kirkenes and a short drive from the airport. The food was super-tasty and short-travelled. We will never forget our night sleeping on beds made of ice!Hotel staff made us feel very much at home (one member of our family became poorly during the stay and staff went out of their way to help, providing transport to and from hospital - thank you, Mathias).

Once in a lifetime experience!

the ice rooms in the hotel are incredible lounge very convenient - common areas, shower, sauna etc very good and clean staff super friendly and uncomplicated breakfast and dinner really delicious very good (warm) sleeping bags :)

Transfer from Kirkenes very expensive - we organized our own transfer for less than the half

We love the place, and each of the staff was excellent.

We love the very clean, beautiful and organized property.

A few of the gamma cabin’s views are largely obstructed by the snow hotel. Ours was partially obstructed, which was ok, but I would have been upset if the view was completely obstructed.
